Relational Health, Communication Skills, and Emotional Health Workshops

RCE 106: An Exploration of LGI’s Whole Child

In order to understand any child it is necessary to consider the complexity and interrelated components  that make up the child as a whole person, unique and unrepeatable. Professionals will benefit from  exploring the broad cycles of development associated with ages, the child’s task at each developmental  stage and how various aspects of uniqueness, such as temperament, environment and maturity influence  behavior. Using LGI’s acronyms of PIES-RMS and ADUMS, professionals will be equipped with tools to  explain to adults what is going on in the children they interact with. Note: This workshop will not  explore neurodiversity. LGI is currently developing a separate workshop that will focus on  neurodiversity as a component of the Whole Child.

This workshop will explore  the information around families so grow their understanding, leading to greater respect and nurture of  healthier families.

RCE 108: Core Beliefs and Self-Esteem

Deep within each of us is a set of beliefs about ourselves, our relationship to others and to the world, and about the world itself.  This set of beliefs, our core belief system, dictates how we respond and function, how free we are to grow, learn, trust and reach our potential. As human beings we make decisions, project attitudes, speak, react, feel and behave as a direct result of our inner core beliefs. The more we can determine and understand our own core beliefs and their impact, the more we can recognize that others are operating from their core beliefs. We will also consider the connection between core beliefs and the development of healthy self-esteem.  Exploring key paradigms through which we can view self-esteem and an image to help us remember these paradigms will culminate in an exercise to put the workshop information together.

3 Hour Workshop

Available Dates & Formats:

  • 10/9/2026, 9:00 am-12:00 pm (Virtual)

RCE 110: Uniquely Wired, Embracing Neurodiversity

The understanding of neurodiversity is relatively new.  The more we increase awareness and gain understanding, the more we can accept, celebrate and appreciate the beauty and strengths of the unique individuals we encounter in our families, schools, communities and places of employment.   While we cannot possibly cover every aspect of neurodiversity in this workshop, we look forward to exploring this topic together to enhance and enrich participant knowledge.
