LGI is a collegiate-style professional development training. The uniqueness of our training is the intentional design, which both nurtures and supports individuals to grow in self-awareness while learning research-based information in many fields of study.
Lakeside has established our Global Institute for the purpose of offering comprehensive trauma-informed training to any professional, organization or system of care that provides support for trauma-impacted children and adults. We offer general workshops, extensive trauma-informed training, and trauma certifications for professionals. Our courses are offered by our seasoned training staff and can be delivered in person or virtually.

LGI’s Early Childhood Education training is a series that empowers early learning professionals with valuable insights and healing-centered approaches. It is designed to inspire new ways of understanding and responding to children’s behavior and needs.

Lakeside Global Institute is honored that Beth Hall, Program Director, and Michelle Machado, Assistant Program Director, have been included in the development of a portion of the 2026 in-service training program with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission.
